Ah, ha….. Found it or might I say that confirms it.
I know the post is old but might help others with .9 stepper questions. The .9 stepper should not be confused with the half stepping proposed by some on the 1.8 motors by lowering the power to the stepper every other command, pulse or flag, to ‘simulate’ .9 stepping. On the POLOLU website it says High, High, High. With all the “tabs” installed. Meaning the full power will be sent to .9 motor for each step. Rather than half current every other step on a 1.8 to try and achieve .9 resolution. Know Im repeating my self but for the rest of us who are kinda thick it helps to repeat.
Wow what a learning curve. Going to try some hybrid steppers on the arms. Already posted the specs here. Ordered the Pololu DRV8824 to control them. The Hybrid stepper only pulls 600ma and the step stick supposedly‎ will choose high decay for lower power steppers. Will post on results but it will be some time out before vitamins can be installed.
