      As you all know we are plaqued by loadshedding again.

      This interferes a lot with my creative skills and spoils a lot of prints.

      I saw that robobeast has a battery backup. Do you perhaps have an idea to incorporate such a feature in th
      Morgan ?

      I dont want to use a bulky conventional UPS. Something that uses a small Lead Acid battery with about 3-6 hrs standby power in case of power loss.

      A diy route would be nice .

      The easiest way is to buy one of those alarm battery charging stations. To have a 3 to 6 hour backup you need one of those 20 to 24 AH deep discharge batteries.

      Connect it to your Morgan power supply via a large diode to prevent the Morgan supply trying to blitz charge the battery when power comes back…
