If you like Morgan, get me a coffee, or a beer. If you love Morgan, get me a roll of filament…
Making Morgan has been a lot of fun. I do not expect anything, but if you love it, and use it, drop me a couple of bucks in the Donation box to the right. Help me pay for the material to keep developing Morgan and its offspring into one of the default Reprap machines of the world.
Congratulations on the release. This is the freshest new idea that I have seen on RepRap for a while. It really takes the printer to a new level of mechanical simplicity and elegance. I just discovered your blog about 2 weeks ago and have been anticipating the release. It’s been a short wait for me, but I can only imagine the entire two year process.
Hi Quentin
I added the Morgan to FabFabbers: http://www.fabfabbers.com/models/id/128/morgan-by-qharley
Just wondered if you could add a photo to your GitHub repo?
Marcos
Fab-ulous…
I’ll see what I can do regarding the photo.
Congratulations again!!!
One thing, I do not know much about these things but lack the file # 14 in the stl directory, is this correct?
Now I have to get the part print out to start my own quest 🙂
Yes, congratulations! You were the first to notice! If you look at the source file, 14 is reserved for the build plate clips. I use standard 15mm pipe wall mounting clips, because they are cheap, readily available, and strong. You could print any of the unbreakable LM8UU holder clips to fit on the 15mm pipe.
I will add a suitable clip soon.
And then there will be a 14.
Thanks for playing 😉

Congratulations on the release. Would love to build one in future.
